Conferencia Internacional sobre Aves Esteparias Paleárticas: ecología y retos de conservación (ICPSB). https://steppebirds.com 

Se celebrará en Ciudad Real (España), del 25 al 29 de marzo de 2025, conmemorando las dos décadas transcurridas desde el Simposio Internacional sobre Ecología y Conservación de las Aves Esteparias (Lleida, 2004).

El objetivo del la Conferencia es reunir a investigadores, estudiantes, profesionales y gestores para compartir e intercambiar sus experiencias y los últimos resultados de sus investigaciones sobre la ecología y los retos de conservación de las aves esteparias paleárticas.

La conferencia está organizada por el Grupo de Investigación sobre Aves Esteparias de la Península Ibérica (GIAE) y la Universidad de Castilla-La Mancha, con la colaboración de la Cátedra Steppe Forward. El programa incluirá ponencias magistrales, presentaciones orales, pósters, talleres y salidas de campo.

La intención de esta conferencia es que este foro se reúna periódicamente, con la posibilidad de que otros países lo acojan en el futuro. Desde la organización y también desde este blog animamos a todas las personas interesadas a inscribirse y contribuir a este evento.

International Conference on Palearctics Steppe Birds: Ecology and Conservation Challenges (ICPSB). https://steppebirds.com 

It will be held in Ciudad Real (Spain), 25-29 March 2025, commemorating two decades since the International Symposium on Ecology and Conservation of Steppe Birds (Lleida, 2004).

The aim of the conference is to bring together researchers, students, practitioners and managers to share and exchange their experiences and the latest research results on the ecology and conservation challenges of Palearctic steppe birds.

The conference is organised by the Research Group on Steppe Birds of the Iberian Peninsula (GIAE) and the University of Castilla-La Mancha, with the collaboration of the Steppe Forward Chair. The programme will include keynote speeches, oral presentations, posters, workshops and field trips.

The intention of this conference is that this forum will meet periodically, with the possibility of other countries hosting it in the future. The organisers and this blog encourage all those interested to register and contribute to this event.
